You may have noticed some changes over at BootsnAll in the past couple months. Indie travel has always been our passion, but we really wanted to re-focus and make everything we’re involved in indie-travel related.
It started with the publication of the Indie Travel Manifesto and continued with the Around the World Airfare Report. In addition to the indie-travel related feature articles we publish 5 days a week, we have recently revamped our Travel Guide pages.
These new and improved Indie Travel Guides put a focus on the independent travel aspects of each city, with indie travel tips, a “why you should (or shouldn’t) add that city to your RTW trip” section, and budgeting information. The thing we’re most excited about; however, is that we want you to get involved.
There’s a spot on each travel guide page for you to rate the “indie-ness” of that destination and enter a per-day budget number to share how much you spent while there.
If you’re planning an extended trip, then you want to start keeping an eye on airfare specials. BootsnAll has monthly deals that can take you all over the world, so be sure to check out the following deals, which are good through July 31, 2012:
