RTW Frequently Asked Questions on Bootsnall
Planning a trip around the world is something of an undertaking. When I started gearing up for my trip, not only did I have lots of questions, but my friends and family had questions too. Sometimes they’d ask a question about something I hadn’t thought of before, and I’d have to add it to the seemingly endless list of issues to address before leaving.
Fortunately we live in the Internet Age, and it’s much easier to plan a trip around the world than ever before. The folks over at Bootsnall have just put up an all-encompassing RTW FAQ (that stands for Frequently Asked Questions) that should address the majority of any issues facing someone planning a trip around the world.

In it are the basics, such as why you might want to go around the world in the first place, and how to get going on the initial planning. It also covers how to figure out your route, what to do about all those pesky languages you don’t know, the red tape, what to read, costs, how to save, stay healthy, and all that stuff.
If you are just starting out, it’s a great thing to read right away. You’ll instantly feel better. If you’re in the midst of planning your trip, there will undoubtedly be some areas of interest. I found I liked finding multiple opinions on every issue, so even things you think you have covered can always be revisited. And if you’re reading it while actually on the road, there are surely some tips and advice in the FAQ that might save you time, money, or make you realize previously untapped possibility.
This blog will be covering many of those topics in further detail, and offering even more points of view on everything having to do with RTW. Don’t forget that you can email us if you have a specific question, or add a comment and begin a discussion.
